Yay! Magnets!

Magnets are fun. I’m not entirely sure why, but there is something about messing about with magnets that is fundamentally entertaining. If you disagree, I’m convinced you just haven’t had enough exposure. Anyway, with this in mind I recently discovered an amazing place to purchase strong neodymium magnets, K&J Magnets, Inc.
The assortment of various strong magnets they carry is unmatched as far as I’ve seen. Better yet, the prices are fantastic right down to reasonable shipping. Without a doubt I’ll be placing a substantial magnet order real soon. How can anyone turn down buying 100 6mm diameter magnets with nearly 3 lbs of pull force for only $4.65? I certainly can’t… What will I use these for? Who cares! These are crazy fun stacks of really cool magnets!
Being the odd guy I am, I was curious what the strongest magnet I could find on there was. The best I could find is a 4″ x 2″ x 1/2″ block with a pull force of over 640 lbs which is only $58.75! Without a doubt playing with this magnetic would cause my untimely death, but it sure is cool to peer at on the internet from the safety of my laptop.
