Spider-Man 3: Collectible Action Figures

Keith and Alan pointed me at these soon to be released (Q1 2007) action figures. They are being created by Medicom Toy and distributed by Sideshow Collectibles. Due to their collectible nature, I don’t expect them to be commonly available or affordable. It looks like the pricing will be in the >$100 range for the fully pose-able 12″ figures.
The one feature I think is most cool about these is the way they have made a jointed figure and then put a stretchy plastic like material over the character as the suit. This hides all the joint mechanics creating a far more seamless action figure. My main criticism of these would be Venom’s face. Something about the distortion of it bothers me…
I’m really looking forward to seeing what the lineup of kid targeted action figures for Spider-Man 3 will be!

Watto Rides Again on Google Video

When I realized that anyone can post a video on Google Video, it was clear that I needed to try it out. I dug our old video friend Watto’s foray into the pornography industry back out of the ashes and rereleased this once popular video on Google’s service. For those who missed this gem the first time, basically the film above portrays Watto from Star Wars enjoying a romp with Wicket, acted out with Burger King toys. Amzingly, these toys get right into it and act it all out on their own. Witness Watto’s sweet humping action!

Burger King currently makes a great line of Star Wars toys. Recently some friends and I have discovered that Watto happens to have an extra special ability, sweet humping action.
