PS3 may have really good graphics, XBox360 may have the best shooting games such as Halo series and Call of duty series, but clearly, Nintendo Wii is the best of the three with its revolutionary controller small cpu and the game super smash brawl

[...] On a Digg was this great link to a comparison of Sony and Nintendo’s stock prices. Clearly things have started to fork after Nintendo ruled E3 by showing off how flippin sweet the Wii is going to be. [...]

While this wouldn't be ideal for many games, it has great potential:

A pair of these things would allow one to be far more engaged in a game, if they could be made to work with a ton of games and scenarios, from driving cars to picking up items to opening doors.

[...] As we all patiently wait for the Nintendo Wii, one of the potential games we’re all hoping for is a new Duck Hunt. This seems like a no-brainer with the controller. Anyway, while we all wait until the end of the year for that, check out these two online Duck Hunt games right now: [...]

Look at DDR, looking like a tool is not a restriction in successful video games. In fact, playing video games at all in the beginning defined you as a geek. That level of self consciousness is embarrasing.

If the game is fun and immersive, it will be popular and expectations will quickly change. Suddenly sitting playing with a controller which does not respond to intuitive movements will feel clunky.

I'm out on this - these guys waving their arms around look like a bunch of tools. And who really wants to spend their free time looking like a tool playing yet another Mario Bros. game?

The XBox launched at $299/$399. Of course all of these are base prices. With limited stock, stores sell mandatory packages for pre-order which require you to buy extra controllers, games, and other accessories. This pushes the actual cost up significantly. Then, also with the XBox, people were making Ebay auctions and selling them with insane markup.
