                <p><a href="/wp-content/upload/star_wars_logo.JPG.jpg" onclick="window.open('/wp-content/upload/star_wars_logo.JPG.jpg','popup','width=720,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=yes,left=0,top=0');return false"><img src="/wp-content/upload/star_wars_logo.JPG-tm.jpg" height="100" width="150" border="1" align="left" hspace="4" vspace="4" alt="Star Wars Logo" /></a>Lucas is now hinting at the possibility of opening up the &#8220;Knights of the Old Republic Era&#8221; to new movies for alternate writers and directors.  </p>
<p>Nothing set in stone yet, but this could be super-cool.  I&#8217;m imagining Tim Burton or Chris Nolan dark flick.  Or, finally let Spielberg get in there and build a huge standalone blockbuster.  Or Ridley Scott doing an amazing epic.  Or Rob Reiner doing action and a love story correctly.  The possibilities are great.  Let&#8217;s hope this pans out.  I&#8217;d love to see a new Star Wars movie every 4-5 years, much like the Bond flicks.  The Star Wars Universe is ripe fro great storytelling.</p>
