Hufu, Flesh For Dinner?
October 31, 2005
Samantha Bee did a Daily Show segment on Hufu, which I found hugely disturbing. This soy based product is being marketed as a “Healthy Human Flesh Alternative.” Absolutely vile… It made me a bit ill, so I figured I’d share the story with all of you.
I do wonder how they determined this matches the texture and flavor…
Enjoy!

[…] Reading DamnInteresting, I was pointed at Steve, Don’t Eat It!. Reading this was at times laugh out loud funny, but continually stomach churning. I thought Hufu was bad, that’s nothing compared to what Steve faces down over the course of nine outragous volumes! […]
[…] Today, I found an even cooler one called Wufoo (not Hufu) over on a sweet Chinese blog that previously linked to me. Wufoo uses a heavy union of Ajax and Flash techniques. It may be a little heavier on the Flash than I would have gone, but it is still really cool. […]
HONESTLY I DON’T SEE THE BIG DEAL. I MYSELF HAVE NEVER TRIED IT MYSELF. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL TASTE GOOD TIL YOU TRY IT. ATLEAST THAT’S HOW I WAS BROUGHT UP. AND OK THE IDEA IS ALITTLE DISTURBING. BUT IT’S SOMEONES CHOICE.. I WOULD TRY IT JUST FOR THE NEW EXPERIENCE.
