Feedback Wins; Comic and Movie Coming Soon!
// September 3rd, 2006 // My Stuff
Feedback (aka Matthew Atherton) won this past week on Who Wants To Be A Superhero?. I had originally thought this reality TV show was going to be laughably terrible, but in the end I found it to be quite endearing.
In the end, Feedback certainly would have been my choice as well. He was a good person with honest interest in superhero’s ad well as the character traits that make a good superhero or good person. His boyish excitement about each and every step and challenge during the show was fun to watch. Major Victory was a close second in my book, but I was not excited to have Fat Momma as my next Stan Lee authored comic adventure.
I’m surprised to find myself looking forward to another season of this show. In the meantime I’ll be watching for both the Feedback comic from Dark Horse and the Sci-Fi Network movie.

Now let’s see a “Who wants to be a Super Villain?”. I’ve always liked the villans more, them and anti-heroes (spawn, ghost rider, lobo, etc).
maybe that’s why I play Horde :P
I couldn’t agree more! I thought this show was going to stink. Instead I found myself watching it with my entire family. I was especially pleased and surprised with the focus on the personal integrity and responsibility of super heroes. Kids (and adults) need to see more about these values on television these days. Especially since most reality shows are about cutting the other guy down. This one rewarded players for sticking together and being morally admirable. It was very refreshing.
I went into it expecting a freak show, but you are right, instead I got “wholesome”. This isn’t what we usually get from TV, especially reality shows. Refreshing is the right adjective.
Do we have any idea when the comic is going to be released?
I found the show very entertaining and always looked forward to the next episode. would sit with my wife and discuss each of the characters, whom we liked and what we thought about that character. Feedback was an interesting hero idea and I thought was very original. Stan Lee did an outstanding job on the costume makeovers.
I have been wanting to get the comic, never hearing when it was to come out, and have chacked on all my local comic book stores and no one was gotten any. Has anyone gotten the comic or heard about the movie?
