Fantastic Four 2: Galactus Revealed?
June 13, 2007
About 3/4 of the way into the above clip we see a short couple frames of Saturn. Projected onto Saturn is a shadow mysteriously shaped like Galactus. Some have complained that this can’t be true as Galactus is not in fact that big. In conventional mythology, he stands nearly 30 feet tall. Given the proper spacing he could project this large of a shadow, but it seems more likely that they have increased his size for greater theatrical impact.
This is completely against the popular rumor that Galactus will instead be portrayed as a cloud… I can’t imagine anyone would allow something that poor to happen to such a beloved and significant Marvel character.
The one thing this is for sure, Galactus will appear in this film. From director Tim Story’s MySpace page:

Got something to say?

I would have to disagree with you. being a long time comic book fan. and f4 fan….galactus is huge. he appears as 30ft. tall. but he is an immense being….read up on your lore.
umm… I know he’s 30 ft tall. Dumbass… Read before commenting
What are these cynics raving about? Galactus was portrayed well. If you notice in the final scene right after the Surfer says to Galactus, “I will not serve you anymore,” you can see Galactus’ outlined helmet…genius! (check it out on you tube) As far as the “cloud” effect, how else can you show such immensity and power? And, who says it is a cloud? Seems like most marvel readers aren’t that open minded to other astral and universal conundrums. Part of his demise tells me, it’s not over yet.
