DOA: Dead or Alive Movie
September 7, 2006
I love movies where girls rip out and kick butt! There is something intrinsically wonderful about female action heroes. Honestly I had not even considered DOA: Dead or Alive as being a movie I was remotely interested in… until I saw this video clip, aptly titled “How to put on a bra”:

This of course prompted me to seek out the full trailer:
This is so flippin’ sweet! In general movies based off video games stink. I understand, trust me. This does look like a ton of fun though. It also includes a bunch of relatively unknown actresses who I really like, including: Devon Aoki (Miho from Sin City), Jaime Pressly (Joy from My Name is Earl), and Sarah Carter (Alicia from Smallville).
I hope somewhere local actually gets this movie. As of right now, the release date is slated as today, but I can’t find anywhere within a 100 miles that is listing it…

Got something to say?

This movie reeks of hypocrisy. The producers have gone out of their way to sex up the stars, especially in the bra scene that you posted. And yet, the company that owns the rights to DOA threw a stink about the nude patches for the video game, citing harm to their trademarks. What a joke.
This movie looks like a candidate for the straight-to-video club.
I shop quite a lot so I am going to get a rewards credit card. I hope to save some money with rebates. I just want to make sure that there aren’t any hidden pitfalls in the terms and conditions. I would really appreciate your help with that. I’m looking at the deals at
