Credit card companies are using neural networks to establish common &quot;types&quot; of customers - the business traveller, the audiophile, etc.  They map an individual against the various types and predict how they will use their credit card.  If a purchase seems out of line with type, then they contact the customer and confirm the purchase.  This behavioral Authentication is also being tried with the way that people type or mouse around.  It will be an interesting area to watch.
